Envision is a charity that was set up in 2000. The aim of the programme is to support young people aged 16-19 to develop their own social and environmental projects. The envision group is entirely voluntary and is open to anyone in the school. The group so far has concentrated on homelessness; the students visited a local soup kitchen and raised money to buy essentials for the homeless (hats, scarves etc). They have made a short documentary on homelessness and have also been involved in a sleep out. The new project that the group is now working on is a multi-cultural festival, so keep an eye out for posters!
