Computers

• There are 32 computers available in the LRC.
• Computer booking is managed by an automated system called MyPC.
• If you find a free computer in the LRC, just sit down and log on. There is no need to book in advance.
• If there are no computers free, go to the MyPC website and book one for later.
• You can also book up to two weeks in advance, using the booking computer which is located in the LRC Entrance Hall.

Photocopying

• The photocopier in the North Room can do both black & white and colour photocopies.
• You can make A4 and A3 copies, double-sided copies, enlarge and reduce.

Scanning        

• Scanning facility is now availabe upon request from the LRC Enquiries desk.
• Images can be scanned up to A4 size.
• The scanned image can then be printed, emailed or saved on a USB. 
• Colour prints from the LRC will incur a charge if you have no colour credits.                                                                                 

Video viewing

• The LRC has a television and video player that you can use.
• To watch an LRC video, first of all borrow the video at the issue desk.
• Then borrow some headphones by handing in your ID card at the Enquiry Desk.

DVD Booth

• The DVD booth may be used for watching DVDs that are related to your studies.
• To watch one of the LRC's DVDs, first of all borrow it at the issue desk.
• Then borrow some headphones by handing in your ID card at the Enquiry Desk.

Languages Booth

• The Languages Booth is provided for languages students who want to improve their listening skills.
• In the booth you can listen to cassettes, CDs and audio internet resources in the language you are studying. This includes Yabla French and Spanish, an online video course appropriate for A1 and A2.
• You can use the Languages Booth for half an hour at a time.
• To use it, please ask LRC staff.

Other equipment

• Cassette players with headphones can be borrowed at the Enquiry Desk.
• Hole-punches, staplers, sellotape and a paper cutter can be found next to the printer in the North Room, and also in the ICT Suite.
