Borrowing
- To borrow resources, bring them to the issue desk at the exit.
- Students can borrow 5 items at a time.
- Staff can borrow 10 items on their personal account and 25 items on their Book Box account.
- Most resources can be kept for 2 weeks.
- 'Overnight' items can be kept for one night, or for the weekend.
- There are also 3 day loans for some items.
- Reference books cannot be borrowed.
|
 |
Overdue resources
- Students with overdue items a) will not be allowed to borrow any more LRC resources, and b) risk being blocked from using LRC computers.
- The above sanctions are lifted when the student either returns all overdue items, or pays for them if they have been lost.
|
| Behaviour in the LRC
The main aim of the LRC is to support students in their studies by providing a good study environment. For this reason, we enforce the following rules:
- No talking at all in the silent room.
- In the rest of the LRC, quiet, work-related talking is allowed.
- Food and drink must not be brought into the LRC.
- Mobile phones must be switched off at all times.
