Health and wellbeing is a central focus of WMSF life, and students are given lots of opportunities to engage with support both in-house and externally.
We have an on-site trained counsellor as well as on-site support from other external agencies such as MIND and West London Zone. In addition, we make referrals to a wide range of organisations to support students and their families, including Early Help, CRUSE, immigration services and more.
Students receive lots of guidance and advice through the tutorial programme, which looks at health, wellbeing, relationships, society, careers and enterprise. We also have a dedicated student services space (both virtual and physical) which hosts a wide range of resources to help students.
Safeguarding is a central principle of William Morris Sixth Form. We recognise that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and we adopt a child-centred approach to safeguarding, always putting the needs of the student first. All young people have the right to feel safe and William Morris Sixth Form has a team of staff who work to ensure every student’s safety as best as possible.
